109 Eastlake Ave. E., Seattle, WAThis was the band's first time playing at Graceland. It has a nice big stage and a nice big dance floor for all you square dancers and moshers! This was another one of those weird weekday gigs. Tuesday's rough. We want to thank everyone who came out. We especially thank Blacky and his entourage, and The Beast and her guest. He put up with my bad drummer jokes. (The favorite of the night: Did you hear about the bass player who locked his keys in the car? It took him an hour to get his drummer out!)The opening bands were San Pedro's Circus and Fingered.Mr. Shredd broke two strings on his guitar. While he usually can fix the broken string while singing and have it done before the next song, one of the strings was broken beyond repair. Before "Thunderin' Bass" a guitar player from San Pedro's Circus came up to the stage and asked Mr. Shredd if he would like to borrow his guitar. Mr. Shredd eagerly accepted and soon was playing a nice Stratocaster! When Tea-Böy asked how it tasted, Mr. Shredd played a few 'licks' with his teeth! (After the show, the gracious guitar lender got a Nashville Drive-By CD to thank him for his generosity.)After "Whoa Tequila" a slightly inebriated gentleman from the crowd asked for a free CD. Then he said, "Give me a CD or die" MC Stevie-Bob, quick on the wit, replied, "then give him 'Die.'" So they did!THE BAND
